LeBlanc, Maples & Waddell
Law firm headquartered in New Orleans with 5 offices throughout the state of Louisiana. Projects included: installing WAN connections to all sites and the internet; converting Novell directory services to Windows NT4 domain; and migrating Groupwise mail to Exchange 5.5 mail. As the company grew, the limitations of NT4 over WAN links were resolved by upgrading to Windows 2000 on both the servers and client workstations.

Freeport McMoRan
System upgrade for international mining company. Scope of the project included an implementation of Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. This task was complicated by the fact that the company had seven NT4 domains and a heterogeneous mail system consisting of Exchange 5.5/UNIX Sendmail spread across the United States, Australia, Spain, Indonesia, and Singapore. Project involved planning with the IT Directors from each site and "hands-on" assistance with the migration. The implementation also included domain controller configuration, site replication, group policy, Active Directory connections, and hardware recommendations for new servers.
